Vision for our All of our youth
1 Timothy 4:12
"Let the kids be kids."
Often, we push aside the future in replacement for distractions and, in doing so, write off excuses as a means to take a break because you work too hard. Do that enough and we'll start to see the fruits of our labor, or rather, the unworked seeds that were supposed to be fruits.
"Let kids be kids."
Let them play, flourish, socialize, fail, and hurt. Let us challenge them and guide them to grow - ultimately, expanding their worldly view into a reflection of a Christ-like life.
OSLC won't just stand around and wait for the future to come. We'll stand and be the forefront for the young adult leaders with the added insight on the written word. We're a place of safety and love, friendship and family, and most of all we're a place of growth and faith.
Someone once said, "Hey y'all what time is yoth?"
Initially our reply was to funnily acknowledge the mistake but then it made sense. It made sense that we're a "yoth" and not a "youth"
"We're not a youth without 'U'."
